Final modeled environment

Here is the final rendered version of my environment, took a lot longer than expected but in the end the struggle was worth it, I think it turned out great. I've found modeling quite relaxing and fun to do in the end, once you understand more about how to create these things through the use of the tools within Maya you get into the flow of it and find the whole process quite relaxing. I still need to work on my texturing and the polygon count so hopefully with a bit more practice I will come to understand those processes a bit more.

Experimental

Here is my final experimental project. I found this extremely fun, it was nice to try something a bit different to the original way of animating. This piece has a little bit of who I am in it and was really fun to make.

Dog and human interaction reference video

Here is the reference footage I took to try and get the fall right in the dog and human interaction animation. Found this very useful to refer to while animating this section.

3D showreel

Here is my final 3D showreel for this semester. I believe I've made a lot of progress this semester and pretty proud of what I've achieve in under a year. I wish I had more time to spend on the dog and human interaction as there are a few things wrong with the girl as she turns and reacts to the dog, I'll come back to it when I have some free time. Special thanks to Ahmed Elmatarawi for the Cody Dog rig. Jose Manuel, Garia Alvarez and Antonio Mendez Lora for the Mery rig. Ram Krish for the dog rig and Joe Daniels for the body mechanics rigs.
