Texturing
I've started to look into the texturing side of modeling now, not going to lie, I found this extremely difficult but I'm slowly getting there. At the moment the floor texture is not working properly with the displacement map, I've also had trouble with the lights as I've textured the parent in a reference file but all the copy's seem to only like to use one material so I'll need to look into that. I'll need to sort those out but I am slowly getting there, should be done in the next couple of days.

Backgrounds
For the past few weeks I've been looking more into the behind the scenes of what goes into a background. I've found that there is actually a bucket tone of things you need to think about while designing your background, all of these need to be helping the background achieve clarity. Here above are my first real tries into trying to create this while also looking a colour (background 2) and light (background 1) within scenes.

Rendered out
Here is the final rendered out version of my character interaction. Extremely happy with this, I'm slowly seeing improvement in my work. Thanks to Joe Daniels for the rigs.

Experimental
For my experimental project I've been looking at a few different techniques which I believe are quite interesting which I wanted to try out, one of the animators which caught my attention was Marty Cooper with his interaction between 2D cells and the real world. Really really cool stuff. Here is my go at this technique.
Modeling update
Finished the modeling aspect of my urbex environment and moving onto texturing. Going to take some time to work out how to get materials to fix properly and how the UV mapping works.

Life drawing practice
Here are a few more life drawing pieces which I have done recently. What I seem to be finding the most difficult to achieve is the feet and length of the legs. I also seem to be having trouble defining how long the back should be, I need to keep at it, I've been given a few tips now to battle these problems so hopefully next time I can put these into effect.
